GBC is a multi-ethnic community of faith ministering in Park Slope since 1858
Park Slope is a friendly community of brownstones and is known for its fine restaurants, shops and cultural activities. We are within walking distance of the magnificent Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Public Library, the Botanical Gardens and many other historical areas. Greenwood is located on the corner of Seventh Avenue and Sixth Street, in the center of this thriving community and easily accessible by car and by several bus and subway lines.
Our membership reflects the racial, cultural and economic dynamics and diversity of the Park Slope area. We are proud of how God has used our diversity to show how people can live together with joy.
